Dear Family,
September 30, 2019
Happy last
day of September! Maybe we will get some cooler weather in October.
Thank you
all for your support of our Homecoming! We won first place for our class
banner!!
In math this week we will talk
about a dozen and half-dozen, writing fractions, reading and writing to 1,000,
writing money amounts with dollar signs and cent symbols, reading a thermometer
and marking it to the nearest two degrees, and addition facts adding 3 and 4.
Our Unit 1,
Lesson 6 The White Spider’s Gift is a play! We continue to work on
writing complete sentences, nouns, verbs, subject (who or what the sentence is
about) and predicate (what the subject is or does).
This Friday
we wear pink to school. Pom-Pom Squad, you have a note in your binder from Miss
Kelly.
No school
Monday, October 7. The faculty will attend professional development in
Montgomery. I will send our Home Connection this Friday since we will have a
short week.
Another free
app you may find interesting… Freerice. The grammar section is particularly
good.
Thank you
to:
·
Mayor Tibbs for bringing us hot Cinnabon
Delights from Taco Bell this morning. Yum!
·
Miss Michelle, Katelyn’s mom, for birthday
cupcakes!
Teaching and Loving Yours,
Miss Suzann
