- Monday, October 1st is a student holiday. There is no school today. Enjoy your long weekend!
- I will be sending home field trip forms for the pumpkin patch this week. Please return these as soon as possible and no later than Friday, October 12th.
- The last day of AR for the 1st 9 weeks is October 10th. Please encourage students to keep reading and taking tests. I know they are all capable of meeting their goals. If students meet their point and percentage goal, I will give them a bonus 100 in Reading.
What We Are Learning:
- Reading, Grammar, & Spelling:
- This week we have a Unit 1 Assessment. It will cover all the topics that we have discussed during our first reading unit. Students will be tested on phonics, grammar, spelling, and a new, short reading comprehension passage. We do not have new spelling, vocabulary, or grammar skills this week. We will be reviewing in class this week.
